The leading retail professionals for the Central North Island have been announced in the ServiceIQ Retail Professional Awards.
One of the three finalists will be named the region’s winner at the regional TOP SHOP Awards dinner on 14 October. They will go on to join the winners of the other four regions in the national awards, held at a gala event in Auckland on 22 October, where one will be named the ServiceIQ New Zealand Retail Professional 2014.
The Central North Island finalists are:
• Eliza Swainson, Mitre10 Mega, Hamilton
• Kerry Wooldridge, Salvation Army Family Store, Waitara
• Ashley Brunel, Liquor King Horsham, Hamilton
“Eliza has a mature work ethic beyond her years and acts as a positive role model for the company at all times,” says Mitre10 Mega Hamilton Human Resources Manager Lynne Wilson.
Salvation Army Family Store Manager Karen Lowe: “Kerry is an amazing treasure in our team, very good with customers and staff, excellent regarding health and safety.”
Liquor King Horsham Northern Regional Manager Lee-Ann Barns Lawton says Ashley delivers great results. “The team at Horsham have given great feedback on Ashley and thrived from his management style.”
All ServiceIQ Retail Professional nominees have worked in retail for four years or less, and have completed or are studying towards a ServiceIQ National Certificate in Retail.

The winners from each of the five regions will gather in Auckland on 22 October to learn who will win the inaugural ServiceIQ New Zealand Retail Professional Award.
