SKYCITY’s nationwide commitment icing on the cake for SPCA
While most people will still be sound asleep in the early hours of Monday 25 August, SKYCITY’s pastry teams across the country will be in the kitchen creating 1600 cupcakes in support of SPCA Cupcake Day.
This year SKYCITY has extended efforts nationwide and will be donating a record number of cupcakes from their Auckland, Hamilton and Queenstown sites to help animals in need. Cupcake stalls will be set up outside each site and all proceeds from the sale of cupcakes will go direct to the SPCA.
SKYCITY General Manager Corporate Services Gráinne Troute says while SKYCITY Auckland has supported SPCA Cupcake Day in previous years, it’s wonderful to extend this commitment across the country.
“Our pastry chefs are among the best in the business and it’s fantastic to share our culinary expertise in the kitchen for a good cause.
“We are proud to get behind organisations that make a positive difference, and the SPCA provides life-saving services for animals.”
