Last Chance to Enter NZB’s Proven 2YO Sale
Entries are closing soon for the New Zealand Bloodstock’s Ready to Run Sale of 2YOs – the most successful sale of its kind in Australasia – with a deadline of Friday 15 August.
When it comes to a sale of two-year-olds, New Zealand Bloodstock’s Ready to Run Sale walks the talk in the sale ring and on the racetrack - boasting formidable records on both accounts that have catapulted the Sale to the top of its league.
Last year’s Sale broke Australasian records, celebrating the highest ever sale average, just shy of $80,000 – unmatched by any two-year-old sale in Australasia.
Buyers looking for top-quality racehorses come to Karaka, and they come meaning business: the 2013 Sale had four times the number of two-year-olds that sold for $300,000 or more, compared with sales elsewhere.
International buyers have noticed the quality streaming out of the Karaka Sale and have reacted by increasing their participation at the Sale. Australian buyers have lead the charge, topping the sale by spend for the last three years in a row, with the Hong Kong spend doubling in four years, and the Singapore spend more than quadrupling over the same time.
These skyrocketing sale figures are a result of the quality being produced on racetracks around the world by Ready to Run Sale graduates.
In the past three seasons alumni of the Ready to Run Sale have won double the number of stakes races of any other comparable sale in this part of the world. In that same time period, NZB Ready to Run graduates have won nine Group 1 races – the only Group 1 winners sold at auction as two-year-olds in Australasia.
Last season alone saw four Group 1 winners with Atlante (Fastnet Rock), Nashville (NZ) (Darci Brahma) and Albany Reunion (Fastnet Rock) proving themselves at the elite Group 1 level in New Zealand. In Hong Kong, Glorious Days (Hussonet) reigned supreme at the International Race Meeting with victory in the Group 1 Hong Kong Mile.
Less than a year after being sold at the Karaka Sale, Savvy Nature (NZ) (Savabeel) embarked on a brilliant spring three-year-old campaign winning at Group 2 and Group 3 level in both Sydney and Melbourne along with a close placing in the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes.
Group 1 glory in Singapore was achieved by Super Ninetyseven (Show a Heart) in the Sgp-1 Raffles Cup – exemplifying the global coverage of the Ready to Run Sale.
New Zealand Bloodstock has 34 years of experience hosting the Ready to Run Sale and has built a reputation of integrity, service and success that has earned buyers’ trust.
The evidence speaks for itself when it comes to determining the number one marketplace for top flight two-year-olds. To get the best return for your two-year-olds, enter your horses in Australasia's most successful two-year-old Sale: NZB’s Ready to Run Sale of 2YOs.
Important Dates:
