Vodafone doubles the data for Business customers
Kiwi business owners who sign up to Vodafone Red Business plans will get double the data for the duration of their contract term, thanks to a new offer launched by Vodafone.
For a limited time (ending 18 September, 2014) new customers – and existing customers who re-sign on a 24 month Vodafone Red Business plan – will get twice the amount of data for 24 months. Plus those who sign up for Red Business or Red Business Super will also have the option of a new smartphone after the first year.
New Zealanders have an insatiable appetite for mobile data, driven largely by the uptake and use of smartphones. According to the latest Commerce Commission’s Annual Telecommunications Monitoring Report, average data usage (fixed and mobile) per person is increasing markedly year after year: 91% in 2012 and 49% in 2013.
Grant Hopkins, Vodafone’s Director of Enterprise explains: “The Red Business plans just keep getting better. With a huge data allowance – more than other providers – and with a smartphone included, business owners can simply get on with running their company.”
Hopkins continues: “Businesses need to capture, store and transfer data, and Cloud-based services are becoming increasingly attractive as solutions to cut costs and improve security. Vodafone is responding to these business trends. Today, Vodafone’s 4G network is available to over 2.3 million Kiwis, allowing businesses to do much more, faster, with all the data they need.”
New Phone Every Year is a bonus for Red Business and Red Business Super customers. After just 12 months, customers can trade in their existing phone and choose from a range of the latest smartphones, by signing up to a new 24-month term.
Customers on Vodafone’s Red Business plans enjoy unlimited talk and TXT to standard numbers in New Zealand and Australia.
