Finding the right motel now even easier – MANZ
Travellers now have an easier job than ever finding the right place to stay, with the Motel Association of New Zealand
(MANZ) launching a new NZ Motels app for iPhone and android to make finding a motel quicker and simpler.
Access to over 900 motels across the length and breadth of New Zealand plus a range of other useful information for
travellers is now just a click of the mouse or tap of the smartphone away, MANZ Chief Executive Michael Baines says.
“We all lead busy lives these days, especially if you’re on the road away from home, so now finding the right motel to
stay at is quicker and simpler than even before,” Mr Baines says.
The app uses GPS to determine the phones current location, then shows the nearest motel along with over 13,000 other
useful locations such such as toilets, petrol stations, supermarkets, and even real-time road alerts to help you plan
your journey and be in the know if there's a major accident, road works or a road closure.
“This superb new app is a one stop shop for everything you need to make planning your journey and finding accommodation
easier,” Mr Baines says.
In tandem with the new app, The MANZ website has also been redeveloped with a focus on making finding and booking motels
across the country quicker and simpler.
