Bloom Property Management – Tauranga’s newest boutique property management service.
“Property Management in Tauranga just got exciting”
Tauranga, Bay of Plenty – 5 August 2014 – Bloom Property Management, a Tauranga-based independent property management company specialising in private rental investment properties has been launched by two Tauranga Mothers who previously worked as Tenancy Managers for the Government’s largest residential housing portfolio.
Mahia Graham and Marise Bevan started Bloom Property Management after noticing a gap in the private residential property market.
Property Manager Mahia Graham says “After working in the private residential property sector and in the Government sector, I have noticed fallings that affect the landlords and the tenants - at Bloom Property Management we are taking a more organic approach to our landlords and tenants.”
Landlords
Receive from Bloom Property Management a service that promotes flexibility and a property manager that has the ability to cater to each client’s individual requirements. Does the landlord want to be paid weekly? Do they want to be present at each inspection? Do they want to organise their own maintenance concerns? These are not a problem for Mahia and Marise at Bloom Property Management.
Tenants
Receive outstanding communication and attention from Bloom Property Management.
“Time and time again I get complaints from tenants saying that they have in the past, been made to feel like ‘second class citizens’ when applying for housing. No one should be made to feel bad about their circumstances. This is where our social housing experience benefits us; we know processes from the Ministry of Social Development and how they can get help, if needed.”
Market Demands choice
Bloom Property Management offers landlords the opportunity to pay a monthly flat fee for their services, no hidden costs. This makes Bloom the obvious choice for the DIY landlord or the property savvy investor. No fixed term contracts and casual lets is also an incentive for owners.
“I have worked in Real Estate Property Management and most of them take 9.5% of the rents collected monthly and 9% on maintenance accounts, it’s so expensive, then they will only pay out to the owner mid month or end of month it is not fair on the landlord and is not good for cash flow.”
Bloom Property Management fosters a professional relationship with tenants not a buddy friendship. The main reason for this is that if issues arise and they do from time to time, keeping a well documented and professional relationship allows us to assert maximum authority under the law without compromise.
“Bloom Property Management is new, fresh, exciting and professional, and we understand the importance people place on communication.”
