Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated is pleased to
introduce our newly appointed Director of Environment and
Natural Resources
Jonathan Dick
Jonathan is a local boy from Maraenui, Hawke’s Bay. He has spent much of his working life outside the area and returned to Hawke’s Bay in 2008.
Jonathan has a very impressive background in Resource and Fisheries Management along with experience in dealing with the Settlement Process for Treaty of Waitangi Claims.
Since coming home to Hawke’s Bay Jonathan has worked as a contractor for a number of organisations including the Crown Forestry Rental Trust, Otago University, the Ministry of Primary Industries and Te Taura Whiri I Te Reo Māori. His extensive mahi experience has required him to deal with a wide range of issues facing iwi and hapū.
Jonathan is married to Louisa and they have two sons Eli (11) and Hugo (9). Apart from spending time with his family and friends, Jonathan loves mountain biking and being fit & healthy.
On behalf of the Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Incorporated, we welcome Jonathan and his whānau to the organisation and we look forward to working with you.
