Simpson Grierson Wins Equal Pay Award
Simpson Grierson was awarded the Silver Award at the inaugural YWCA Equal Pay Awards announced in Auckland last night.
The Silver Award acknowledges Simpson Grierson's commitment to equality. Simpson Grierson HR Director Jo Copeland says: "We are so proud to be recognised at the first-ever YWCA Equal Pay Awards. Simpson Grierson is totally committed to diversity. Our people are top notch and we pay them accordingly. It's that simple really."
The YWCA Equal Pay Awards recognise best practice among businesses actively ensuring equal pay within their organisations.
The judging panel for the awards included: Susan Doughty, Director, dsd Consulting Ltd; Martin King General Manager Human Resources, Coca-Cola Amatil (NZ) Ltd; Galia Barhava-Monteith, Founding Director, GBM Consulting and Professionelle and Carolyn Savage, Senior Architect of the ECL Group and President of Business & Professional Women New Zealand.
