Back-Roads Touring announced as the best Niche Wholesaler in 2014

Back-Roads Touring has been announced as the leader in small group travel after being awarded the Best Niche Wholesaler at the 2014 prestigious National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) on the weekend, which acknowledges excellence in tourism.

Back-Roads Touring Brand Manager Hugh Houston says the award recognises all the hard work and dedication of its travel professionals, focused on providing a unique travel experience in the small group market.

“The Best Niche Wholesaler award shows that we are providing an experience that is recognised as the best in the business,” says Mr Houston.

“We have been creating original small group, tailor made tours for more than 25 years in the UK and Europe, and this year alone will host over 7,000 travellers on 40 tours in over 20 countries.”

With passionate professionals and experienced tour leaders, Back-Roads Touring provides intimate group travel, which focuses on flexibility and authentic cultural experiences at every turn, from the accommodation chosen to dishes served.

Mr Houston says the award will help cement the travel company’s reputation in the market.

“This award will further enhance the reputation of Back-Roads Touring in the market, and increase our exposure as we continue our journey of building the brand.”
