Organic Kiwi Skincare Brand Blossoms in Australia
Australia’s Natural Remedies Group (NRG) has quadrupled the number of stockists of New Zealand’s Plantae Certified Organic Skincare in just six weeks.
In 2012, skincare pioneer Carol Priest co-founded Plantae, which is now regarded as a premium New Zealand organic skincare brand, whose range is entirely Biogro Certified Organic. NRG is one of the fastest growing natural health distributors in Australia. Plantae first trialled with NRG in May at the Brisbane Wray Organic Expo.
Plantae Sales and Marketing Manager Janelle Priest she is impressed with the productive working relationship they have established with NRG in such a short time.
“The increase of stockists through NRG has been incredibly rapid, which is fantastic,” says Priest. “Within two weeks of the Wray Organic Expo, NRG had secured two new stockists in Brisbane. Four weeks later, we now have seven NRG health orientated retail stockists. Almost one new stockist has signed up every week, so we have been very busy fulfilling the multiple orders!
“Prior to signing with NRG we had two small outlets in Australia, but I’m very excited about the work NRG has been doing on our behalf, particularly in Queensland, and in New South Wales,” she says. “They have given us a significant platform to introduce Australians to Plantae’s line of certified organic products. The potential for us in Australia is very strong, thanks to NRG.”
NRG’s Sales and Marketing Manager Emilia Foster-Spinelli says that in turn, Plantae has made quite an impression on their customers.
“Leading natural health care professionals we work with in Australia have been very impressed with Plantae, so we will work to quickly build on this interest,” Foster-Spinelli says. “It’s a coup for us to be able to offer this high quality, certified organic product. With Plantae’s BioGro Certified Organic status and Carol Priest’s reputation for quality, it is not surprising that Plantae is already becoming a favourite with customers.”
