‘Millionaire Secretary’ to Speak at Local Business Event
Award-winning author, Laura Humphreys, also known as the ‘Millionaire Secretary’ who began her career as a secretary and went on to build a multi-million dollar career, is scheduled to speak at a local business event.
Humphreys will feature at The Big Brekkie, an event which marks the first anniversary of Business Breakfast Club in Nelson. Her first book, Liber8 Your Business, has recently won three international awards including a Gold Medal at the IPPY awards in New York and the Small Business Book Award.
Wayne Densem, Business Breakfast Club Founder, says the club has enjoyed a successful first year and encourages local business people to take advantage of the exclusive opportunity to hear Humphreys speak.
“We are proud of Business Breakfast Club’s achievements over the last year. We have hosted some fantastic events and provided a forum for locals in business to grow and learn, and we look forward to continuing through the next year and beyond,”
says Densem.
“Having Laura in Nelson is significant. She has an incredibly inspiring story and is an engaging speaker who I highly recommend listening to - so if you’re interested in coming along, be quick to secure your tickets.”
The Big Brekkie will be held on Tuesday August 5, from 7 - 9am at Monaco Resort. Ten dollars from each ticket sold will be given to The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust.
