JLL’s Auckland Industrial team continues to grow

JLL’s has appointed Andrew Scotts to strengthen their presence in the South Auckland industrial market.

Andrew first cut his teeth with JLL in industrial leasing and sales in Wellington and has just transferred to the Auckland team.

Whilst Andrew was in Wellington he helped transact a number of deals ranging from 300-1,700sqm, including an industrial lease of 1,700sqm in Seaview and 1,500sqm of office in Lower Hutt, arguably one the largest office transactions in recent times.

Andrew will now focus on Industrial stock within the Penrose and Onehunga precincts.

“It’s great to be able to use my skills in such an interesting, fast-moving market,” says Andrew. “The biggest buzz for me is really understanding people’s business needs and finding the solution that works best for the landlord and the tenant or buyer.”

Sam Smith, National Director of Industrial Sales and Leasing says, “Andrew has been able to utilise his skills and a number of relationships from his previous experience in the Wellington market which is an excellent asset to the team.”

Outside of work he is a keen hockey player, who played for Otago University and was a premier player in the Wellington competition.
