Licensed Salesperson at Ray White Orewa
Debbie Coates markets and sells property in Orewa, the Hibiscus Coast and surrounding areas. "I can't recommend highly enough the lifestyle that living in north Auckland provides. We have the stunning, golden beaches of the beautiful Hibiscus Coast; cafes, bars and restaurants in our boutique towns plus great shopping facilities. We have a huge range of property styles locally: original baches, new builds, architecturally unique designs, rows of town houses, units, apartments, beach front, cliff top, town centre... the list goes on! And on the fringes of Orewa, Silverdale and the Whangaparaoa Peninsula there are quality, private lifestyle blocks and farms. There really is a perfect home for everyone in this highly prized, gorgeous part of New Zealand," says Debbie Coates, "and Auckland CBD is just 30km from the Silverdale SH1 onramp."
Owning a property is a huge commitment, especially financially, and selling your property can be a daunting process. How can using a licensed real estate salesperson help? "As a home owner myself I understand that your property is often your most valuable possession. When it comes to buying and selling property you need to be confident that you're making the right decisions. That's where using an experienced and trusted professional is indispensable. It is my legal and ethical obligation to work in the best interests of my vendors - this means supporting them, providing them with all the information they need to be confident with their decisions and advising them as to how they can sell their property for it's highest value in the current market," explains Debbie Coates.
What about the marketing of a property for sale? Debbie Coates says: "It' not enough to take a few dark and wonky photos, list the physical attributes of the property and hope for the best. Today's online audience expects more! From do-ups to mansions it's all about pinpointing the target market for each property and attracting the perfect buyer using outstanding marketing."
Are there any complimentary services available to local home owners, buyers and prospective sellers? "I provide current property market information and relevant property advice to help home owners, sellers and buyers make educated decisions," says Debbie Coates. "Real estate services should not be limited to just listing and selling property, which essentially is a service that lasts for only a brief period in the timeline of a home owner. The services I provide can be useful at any stage of home ownership, they are without charge and are obligation-free. I provide to anyone who is interested: monthly email updates on the local property market, alerts of new listings within hours of them coming onto the market and appraisals to let property owners know how much their home is likely to achieve if it sells in the current market. Appraisals are essential in the decision making process - helping property owners work out if the current value of their home is able to help them achieve their next property or financial goal."
Debbie Coates used to teach life skills and literacy to inner city youth-at-risk; she's worked as PA to a Medical Director of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (UK); she's lived in Nepal teaching life skills to Kathmandu orphans and she's translated British Sign Language in front of thousands. How does her background help her deliver the best real estate service? "We are all unique; we have different goals, different priorities and exclusive personalities! I've learned that the only way to provide the service that people need is to listen to them, to find out what their objectives and motivations are, their preferences and expectations - then tailor my service to meet their individual needs and desires. My goal is to achieve the perfect outcome perfect for my clients," says Debbie Coates.
