Serko Confirms Granting of US Patent Relating to Travel Expense Automation
Serko Limited confirms that the United States Patent office has today (NZT) granted a travel expense automation patent
to Serko. Further details about the patent are set out below.
This patent is seen as an important addition to Serko’s existing IP portfolio. Serko considers mobile payment via near
field communication (NFC), and associated expense management reconciliation, to be a key development in the
technological evolution of corporate travel.

allocation to cost centres. The itinerary may be laid out in terms of itinerary events, each of which may be tracked by
