Lawson’s Dry Hills Awarded International Trophy at 2014 Decanter World Wine Awards
Lawson’s Dry Hills has been awarded two international trophies in two years at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
The Decanter World Wine Awards is the world’s largest and most influential wine competition with over 13,000 entries.
The awards ceremony held in London last night, announced a number of trophies, including the international trophy for
Dry Aromatic Under £15 awarded to Lawson’s Dry Hills Gewurztraminer 2012.
Commenting on the award, Chief Winemaker for Lawson’s Dry Hills, Marcus Wright said, “It’s a great result for us – we
pride ourselves on our aromatics and recognition like this just endorses what we love doing.” He continues,
“Gewurztraminer is a passion for us as it is for those who love to drink it.”
The award follows on from the company receiving the trophy for International Sauvignon Blanc last year with their Mount
Vernon label.
