The sky’s the limit as NZ tradies switch to the cloud.
Laser Group has established itself as a market leader in technology innovation and recently has made the switch to a cloud-based business model for its business systems and software. Working in conjunction with simPRO to design a program specifically for its Members and employees, Laser Group has developed LaserPro Enterprise, the company’s own specialised software system.
This new cloud-based direction has been implemented to provide Laser Group’s electrical and plumbing trade service professionals with an increase in time management and more ease of operation and reporting.
“In order to succeed in this competitive market, we know that businesses need to evolve and adapt with advancing technology and reporting, so we wanted to find a way to move into a more innovative and productive direction,” said Steve Keil, Managing Director, Laser Group.
Laser Group electricians and plumbers are now equipped with tablets and other mobile devices in order to access LaserPro Enterprise when in the field. The possibilities of this software are endless; staff can now operate their entire business on the road using the cloud, increasing their productivity and efficiency.
“It’s a big step for the company. We’ve invested a lot of time and effort to improve this technology platform and move it this direction and it’s paying off. Many of our employee’s report that they have been able to take on extra jobs on a daily basis since adopting the LaserPro Enterprise software and business owners are armed with on time information,” said Steve.
