Syl Semantics appoints Lindsay Renwick as Business Development Executive
Wellington-based software company Syl Semantics (Syl) has appointed Lindsay Renwick as Business Development Executive, Wellington.
Lindsay has joined Syl to provide additional capability in support of Syl’s rapidly growing Wellington client base. Lindsay initially qualified as a lawyer at Otago University, and over the past 10 years she has held sales and management roles at a number of blue-chip, IT organisations including IBM, Telecom, and Fronde.
Syl’s Managing Director Sean Wilson said, “Lindsay has a fantastic track record in bringing smart, innovative solutions to the large enterprise and government markets, and extensive experience in Search, Information Access and how to address the growing challenges of data overload. Lindsay is a fantastic addition to the team at a time when Syl is receiving unprecedented levels of interest from across the public sector and the commercial market.”
Lindsay’s appointment follows the recent appointments of John Holt as Syl’s Chairman, and returned ex-pat New Zealander Andrew Hull as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, as Syl gears up to execute a growth plan to take the company’s innovative enterprise search and information management solutions offshore to make Syl a truly global company.
