High court rules in favour of Abano

High court rules in favour of Abano: special Meeting will go ahead on 13 June 2014

Abano Healthcare Group has welcomed today’s High Court decision by Justice Thomas rejecting the challenge by Mr Hutson and Mr Reeves to the validity of the meeting date. The special meeting will go ahead at 10am on 13 June 2014 at Ellerslie Event Centre in Auckland.

In addition, Abano is pleased to note that the FMA has stated that there are no active inquiries underway regarding Abano or its current directors and no sanctions at law have been applied to Abano. NZXR has also advised that NZX Regulation has completed its investigations and has not identified any breach of the listing rules. All regulatory complaints by Mr Hutson and Mr Reeves have therefore been dismissed.
