New Zealand’s love for the all-day brekky prompts Domino’s to launch all-day Kiwi Breakfast Pizza!
The trend for all-day breakfasts in New Zealand continues to gain momentum and Domino’s Pizza is set to take the popular craze to the next level adding to their menu the ultimate allday Kiwi brekky pizza.
Global Development Chef Stefaan Codron says the new pizza is all about giving customers more selection and more variety day and night.
“If our customers wake up feeling like Bacon and Eggs we want to be able to give them Bacon and Eggs!” Stefaan said.
“If they come home late at night and feel like Bacon and Eggs we want to be able to deliver them Bacon and Eggs – that’s the beauty of the all-day Kiwi brekky pizza!
With amazing new seasoned scrambled eggs, crispy rasher bacon and smoky BBQ sauce, the all-day Kiwi brekky pizza is set to be a crowd pleaser among pizza lovers.
Stefaan said the pizza was also crowd sourced by Facebook fans some months ago.
“We knew we had the perfect recipe but the hardest decision of all was whether to go with a BBQ or Tomato sauce.”
When asked how they came to make the final decision, Stefaan said they took it to their fans.
“We had a vote on Facebook and we let our fans decide. It was close but in the end BBQ sauce proved most popular as the final complement for the bacon and egg pizza.”
This year Domino’s launched a new brand mantra under the banner of People Powered Pizza paving the way for all marketing activity for 2014.
“People powered pizza is all about our passion and hunger to be better – spending hours each week listening to the comments our customers make – including this very important one - the finishing touches on our new brekky pizza.
“It’s people powered pizza and it really is at the heart of everything we do!”
The new all-day Kiwi Breakfast Pizza is available to order from Domino’s from Monday 2 June. Visit www.dominospizza.co.nz or any of the Company’s popular ordering platforms (via apps and Facebook).
