BAUER MEDIA JOINS NEW ZEALAND FASHION WEEK AS ELITE SPONSOR

New Zealand Fashion Week (NZFW) has a new elite sponsorship partner, with New Zealand’s leading magazine publisher Bauer Media signing on in support of the event.

The Bauer partnership will be led by New Zealand’s definitive fashion and beauty guide, Fashion Quarterly with support across other leading titles, Simply You, Next, Cleo and Woman’s Day, with fashionandbeauty.co.nz supporting the event online.

“We are delighted to have Bauer Media on board as an official partner of the event this year,” said NZFW Managing Director Dame Pieter Stewart DNZM.

“The Bauer deal is one we have been working on for some time and with Fashion Quarterly leading the partnership, supported by such fantastic titles, we have the support of an amazing media partner with a discerning and engaged audience. This is a partnership that we hope to grow allowing us to reach a bigger, broader audience in years to come.”

Bauer Media’s sponsorship will see Fashion Quarterly, Simply You, Next, Cleo and Woman’s Day inject some new life into the Resene Designer Selection (DS) shows, with each title supporting a different DS show throughout the week. Resene is also a first time sponsor of the DS Shows.

The DS shows, which are popular as a fun “girl’s night out”, are always one of the longest of the week. The show offers fashion lovers a chance to experience the excitement of NZFW, featuring in season garments from every designer showing at NZFW.

This year the Bauer titles will add their own unique style into the show format. The Editor from each magazine will style a special section showcasing their take on the upcoming trends for the season.

The official NZFW Guide will also be produced and distributed by Bauer Media this year. A beautifully produced mini magazine The Guide is always popular with the NZFW audience, showcasing the NZFW team and telling fashion lovers exactly what’s happening at the event.

Online engagement will be driven by fashionandbeauty.co.nz and cleo.co.nz, with each title supporting their NZFW activity across their own social media channels.

“Bauer Media is proud to support NZ Fashion Week and have Fashion Quarterly, Woman’s Day, Simply You, Next and Cleo help drive even more opportunities for local designers and retailers as well as generate greater consumer engagement for this world class event’ says Bauer Media, Publisher – Women’s titles Fiona Lyon.
Tickets to the Resene Designer Selections shows will be available to the public through NZFW’s ticketing partner iTICKET, from early July.

Tickets to the Friday afternoon show, presented by Fashion Quarterly are only available through coneystanleyEvents. This show includes a VIP hosting package and a group show featuring Kate Sylvester, Trelise Cooper Boardroom, Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan, Zambesi and TK.
