Automated scam phone calls
Air New Zealand has become aware that members of the public are receiving automated telephone calls purporting to be from the airline. In some cases the callers are offering prizes or credits for future travel as an inducement to provide personal details. These calls are not from Air New Zealand and we strongly advise any member of the public who receives one not to hand over any information and to hang up immediately. Air New Zealand is just one of numerous well known New Zealand and international brands who have been targeted by this type of scam listed on the Department of Internal Affairs website.
