New appointment at Hill Laboratories
Hill Laboratories appoints new Food and Bioanalytical client
services manager
New Zealand's leading analytical testing laboratory, Hill Laboratories, has appointed Jill Rumney as client services manager for the organisation’s Food and Bioanalytical division.
Mrs Rumney has a total of 24 years’ experience in the food and testing industries, having previously worked for NZCDC (now Fonterra) in Matangi, Waikato Milk Company and in the laboratory at Waikato Hospital.
Immediately prior to her new position Mrs Rumney worked for 11 years as section manager of Hill Laboratories’ sample reception at the organisation’s main site in Hamilton.
Mrs Rumney said Hill Laboratories’ client services teams across their three divisions, Food and Bioanalytical, Agricultural and Environmental, are what sets the organisation apart from most other analytical testing laboratories.
“Organisations and individuals require testing across our three divisions for many different reasons. At Hill Laboratories we recognise that doing the wrong test is of no benefit to anyone, so we have built a strong client services teams to provide guidance on the best testing to meet customers’ needs,” she said.
“As client services manager of the Food and Bioanalytical division, I will lead the team providing support to Hill Laboratories’ Food and Bioanalytical clients nationally. I look forward to offering leadership in this division,” she said.
Hill Laboratories is a 100 per cent privately owned New Zealand analytical testing laboratory and has three major testing areas: Agriculture, Environmental and Food.
With its main site in Hamilton, the company currently has four sites in the North Island, two in the South Island, and an office in Japan.
