Luxury tourism company Touch of Spice forms stand-alone property management company offering full turn-key service
Leading luxury tourism company Touch of Spice has grown its portfolio of services forming a stand-alone property management company, Touch of Spice Property Management, under the part ownership of Jacqui Spice and Bridget and Aaron Murphy.
Touch of Spice owner and CEO Jacqui Spice formed Touch of Spice Property Management to assist with the continual growth of the Touch of Spice Private Villa Collection.
Aaron and Bridget have a wealth of experience and knowledge managing five star resorts around the world and are “the perfect couple” to manage this side of the business.
“The Touch of Spice Property Management company is vital to our success as market leader in the luxury villa market and I believe Aaron and Bridget are undoubtedly the best team to help me develop and grow this area of the business,” said Ms Spice.
“I remain actively involved in the strategic growth of the Touch of Spice Property Management company but the new partnership enables me to focus on driving the sales and customer service side of our Touch of Spice private villa collection and also frees me up to grow other areas of the business model,” she said.
“Aaron and Bridget have a very impressive background in the five-star tourism industry. Their attention to detail and professionalism is second-to-none and I am confident that their high standards match those of myself, the Touch of Spice team and our clients.”
Touch of Spice is the market leader in the luxury villa market, lauded one of the best Villa Rental companies in the world four years in a row by Condé Nast Traveler magazine, and one of the best luxury tourism companies in the world -- also by Condé Nast Traveler.
By having one central hub for all services, the new partnership means Touch of Spice offers complete care and full accountability for the sales, marketing, management, cleaning, home maintenance and accounting of its private villa portfolio.
“There’s no other company in Queenstown that can do this or match our level of bookings, service and attention to detail,” said Ms Spice.
“Our aim is to provide clients with a complete turnkey solution and continue to deliver value on investment for our owners, mitigating any extra costs associated through the use of external suppliers.
“It’s also about delivering and exceeding expectations of our owners and guests who stay in a Touch of Spice private villa.”
“By completing all the work ourselves within the Touch of Spice Property Management division we can ensure the high standards we know our guests expect are met and exceeded,” she said.
Aaron and Bridget Murphy’s extensive luxury tourism experience spans ten years. The couple live in Queenstown and prior to that managed the five-star Yasawa Island Resort and Spa - an 18-bure luxury resort in Fiji.
Mr and Mrs Murphy’s impressive work experience also includes being joint general managers for over five years at the Orpheus Island Resort, Australia -- responsible for all aspects of the successful running of a resort including guest services, maintenance and quality control.
Mr Murphy was also assistant resort manager at five-star Matakauri Lodge in Queenstown and Mrs Murphy was general manager at Element Escapes Queenstown, both five-star boutique properties.
“We believe in delivering exceptional customer service at all times while ensuring the business is running at optimum levels maximising benefits for owners,” said Mr Murphy.
“By managing the entire property rental process from A to B we have successfully streamlined our operations thus offering a very cost effective and fully-inclusive service for our clients,” he said.
“From changing a light bulb, to ensuring a guest’s fridge is stocked with their favourite food and Central Otago wine, we’ll take care of everything,” said Mrs Murphy.
“From the moment a guest books a Touch of Spice private villa they can be rest assured that we are on-hand to make sure their stay is nothing short of amazing. Our owners know that our standards are beyond reproach and we will ensure their homes are well-maintained and looked after at all times.”
“We’re excited and extremely privileged to be involved with Touch of Spice and the amazing team. A company with such a remarkable reputation and many awards, Touch of Spice is a perfect fit and we’re looking forward to the future and expanding and developing opportunities,” she said.
