New ANZ Northlands branch for Christchurch
ANZ today celebrated the opening of its new branch at Northlands Shopping Centre.
The branch – at 55 Main North Rd - was officially opened by Rodney King, ANZ General Manager Southern and Tom Gorman ANZ Northlands Branch Manager. Located within Northlands Shopping Centre, customers now have the option to do their banking seven days a week.
The branch features a 24/7 Smart ATM, which accepts deposits and cheques and an Internet Kiosk for customers to use whenever they’re in the branch, as well as a team of experts on hand to help.
Fred Ohlsson, ANZ’s Managing Director, Retail and Business Banking, said the new branch location shows ANZ’s continued optimism in the future of Christchurch.
“Northlands is a key growth area and an economic hotspot in Christchurch. Since the earthquakes many more customers are working and shopping in the North West of the city. With the upcoming construction of homes in the new local subdivisions such as the Groynes, Prestons and Highfield this will only continue to grow in the future,” Mr Ohlsson said.
