FINZSOFT’s Banking Technology Launches NZ Credit Unions Mobile Banking App
AUCKLAND 14 May 2014 - Searching for a smart, cost-effective technology solution, the New Zealand Association of Credit
Unions (NZACU) partnered with Auckland-based financial technology company Finzsoft Solutions(NZX:FIN) to deliver ‘AccessMobile’, an industry leading mobile banking app.
NZACU is the industry association for 22 credit unions and building societies across the country. The AccessMobile app
is one of the first to be available on Apple iPad, as well as iPhone and Android phone and tablets. Finzsoft’s clever
mobile banking solution enabled the NZACU to launch the latest mobile banking technology fast - the project began in
January 2014 and was delivered in March 2014.
Finzsoft Managing Director Andrew Holliday says keeping up with technology developments in the very competitive
financial services market can be a costly and time-consuming exercise for some of the smaller banks and financial
institutions. “We are now operating in a ‘mobile everything’ state when it comes to banking and finance, and to remain
competitive and relevant for customers all financial institutions have to have their doors open on-line all the time.”
Using the mobile banking module of its ‘Sovereign’ banking and finance software, Finzsoft was able to deliver a state of
the art mobile banking app with 11 different brand ‘skins’, enabling the NZACU’s Member credit unions to deliver a
