Air Tahiti Nui’s New French Connection Takes Off
Air Tahiti Nui’s new French Connection is offering New Zealanders better access to Europe with increased frequencies to Paris and the option of exciting stopovers in Tahiti and Los Angeles.
Priced from $2349* return in Economy Class and from $6969* return in Business Class, the airline is now offering three weekly services between Auckland and Paris.
Air Tahiti Nui General Manager New Zealand Mark Hutchinson said the year-round fares had been reduced by 10 per cent to offer a great value option for New Zealanders heading north.
“Travellers have the option of breaking the long haul journey in sunny Tahiti and glamorous Los Angeles or they can fly from Paris to Auckland in under 30 hours including transits,” he said.
For the first time, Air Tahiti Nui is also offering access to 19 of Europe’s most sought-after destinations with return flights from Paris to the likes of Amsterdam, Zurich or London starting from just $200, and Madrid, Copenhagen or Vienna from $400.
The enhanced connection also extends to 25 French cities including Bordeaux, Nice and Lyon through codeshare agreements with Air France and the country’s high speed national train network.
“Our new French Connection is designed to offer Kiwis a flexible, smooth and great value trip to Europe,” Mr Hutchinson said.
“Paris is at the top of a lot of New Zealanders’ wish lists and we hope that travelling to the City of Light via Los Angeles and Tahiti will prove an irresistible proposition.”
Air Tahiti Nui is enhancing its fleet of Airbus A340-300 aircraft with a complete cabin reconfiguration including more comfortable seats and a new in-flight entertainment system.
