Breakfast is Back at Heritage Christchurch
HCHC Reception
Heritage Christchurch is delighted to announce breakfast is back on the menu for casual diners and in-house guests.
Set in the iconic Old Government Building on Cathedral Square, the hotel is offering an a la carte breakfast from 6.30
AM week days and 7 AM on weekends until 10.30 AM.
On offer are muffins, bagels, fruit, muesli and porridge, with classic big breakfast options of eggs all-ways, eggs
benedict, the three-egg omelette, French toast and pancakes. There are also gluten and dairy free options available.
Former breakfast chef of the Heritage Christchurch, Danny Cribb, has returned to present the delicious fare and give
locals and visitors a hearty breakfast option in the CBD.
“It’s really exciting to be back at the hotel to be part of the remerging dining scene in the city. Each day we have
more people coming in for breakfast from gym goers grabbing something on the run, to office workers and international
visitors,” says Danny.
A perfect way for locals to trial the new breakfast is on Mother’s Day on Sunday May 11. Pre-bookings are essential on
03 983 4800.
The luxurious Heritage Christchurch offers accommodation in one and two bedroom self–contained beautifully appointed
suites, conference facilities for small events and meetings, and a fully equipped health club and lap pool on site.
The hotel has been part of the hospitality industry since 1996 and survived the 2011 seismic events to emerge as one of
the few remaining working heritage buildings in Christchurch. The multi-award winning building is registered as category
one on the Historic Places Trust and reopened in 2013 in its 100th year.
