10 cents off per litre - save at the pump with Gull
Find out what the Gull Effect is all about
Auckland, 30 April 2014 – New Zealand’s only family owned full retailer, Gull New Zealand today announces a discount day, reducing current prices by ten cents a litre across all grades of fuel.
Dave Bodger, General Manager for Gull New Zealand says after two long weekends and school holidays, it’s likely that Kiwi motorists are feeling the pinch.
“Gull is keen to do all it can to reduce fuel costs for motorists. With its low cost model Gull has saved communities hundreds of thousands of dollars by increasing competition which has lowered prices at all outlets near Gull sites. With a Gull site nearby competitor prices are on average six cents lower than elsewhere.
“The Automobile Association has called this the ‘Gull Effect’ and we couldn’t be happier to be responsible for keeping a few extra dollars in motorists’ pockets.
“We invite motorists to experience the Gull Effect for themselves and remind them that they can save even more by using a Countdown fuel voucher at a Gull manned site,” says Bodger.
The discount day commences at 7am, Wednesday 30 April and runs until midday, Thursday 1 May.
Pricing at the sites where Gull sets the retail price will be:

$1.999
$1.999
Gull Force 10
$2.149
