It’s a star-studded line-up at Wellington’s Food Show
Media Release 29 April 2014
Celebrity guests, world-class chefs, free coffee, sharp deals on kitchen appliances, and a whole host of fun await visitors to the Kenwood stand at the annual Wellington Food Show from May 9 - 11.
It will be a star-studded line-up as the likes of Masterchef winners Chelsea Winter and Brett McGregor, TV presenter Sarah Bradley, formerly of Good Morning, The Hits Wellington radio host Camille Guzzwell, New Zealand Cricket greats Stephen Murdoch and Chris Nevin of the Firebirds, along with award-winning comedian and writer for 7 Days Sarah Harpur all compete in Kenwood’s New Generation Game.
Based on the much-loved classic British game show hosted by long-time entertainer Bruce Forsyth, Kenwood’s New Generation Game pits celebrity guests against Food Show goers as they battle to win fantastic prizes from Kenwood.
New Zealand’s first Royal Academy “Master of Culinary Arts” and DineAid Trustee, Mark Gregory, will be the game show’s crowd-pleasing host. With lashings of stars and generous dollops of fun, the Kenwood New Generation Game promises a smorgasbord of entertainment.
The Kenwood stand will also double as a demonstration stage, featuring a roster of top chefs, including Chef Martin Bosley; author of Gran’s Kitchen cookbook series and regular presenter on Good Morning, Natalie Oldfield along with Executive Chef of Nourish Group Eugene Hamilton.
And while they’re being entertained and informed, audiences can sample rich espresso coffee made by De’Longhi’s resident barista.
Food Show customers will also be able to snap up some fantastic deals on all Kenwood and De’Longhi appliances.
In the words of Bruce Forsyth it will be "Nice to see you, to see you nice" at the Kenwood stand at the 2014 Wellington Food Show.
The 2014 Wellington Food Show runs from 9-11 May at the Westpac Stadium. Doors are open from 10am to 6pm Friday and Saturday, and 10am to 5pm Sunday.
