Get chatty this winter: Free weekend calling with Vodafone
Now there’s even more reason to enjoy a chat this winter as Vodafone unveils new $19 and $29 Prepay plans, giving
customers Free weekend calls to Vodafone mobiles all weekend*. And the weekend starts at 7pm on Friday night for Vodafone Prepay customers – so you can talk for longer!
Consumer Director, Matt Williams, says Vodafone is reviving the popular Free weekends after an overwhelming response by
Kiwis to a previous Vodafone top-up offer.
“Our Prepay customers love to chat. In March, they made over 300,000 hours of weekend calls – so we’re bringing back
Free weekends, and it’s better than ever! Now there’s no need to stress about exceeding your monthly minute allowance –
our new Prepay plans give you free calls to all your Vodafone mates from 7pm on Friday to 7am on Monday morning, without
you doing a thing.”
Calls and TXTs to Australia are also now included as standard in both Prepay $19 and Prepay $29 plans.
“Lots of Kiwis have friends and family in Oz, so we’ve included calls and TXTs to Australia in our plans too, so you can
keep in touch at no extra cost. And with 100 minutes – you can talk and talk!”
Matt continues: “Kiwis looking to catch up online won’t be disappointed either. Our two new all-in-one plans include
fast 4G free, so you can unleash your mobile and enjoy faster downloads and streaming in any of our 37 4G-coverage
locations nationwide.”
