Competition for Unique Investec Super Rugby Jerseys Red Hot
New Zealand rugby fans are signing up by the thousands for a chance to see the name of a Kiwi kid they know on the front
of their favourite Investec Super Rugby player.
In just five days, BNZ Future Stars has received over 2,000 entries for the online ballot. So far the Chiefs have been
the most popular team, closely followed by the Highlanders.
With three jerseys from each of the five New Zealand Super Rugby teams up for auction, interest has been high. The 15
auctions have had over 12,000 views and 569 bids have been placed on TradeMe. Hurricanes fans have been making the most
bids, but it is the Crusaders #8 jersey number leading the charge with a highest bid of $1000.00.
BNZ head of brand, Mike Davy, is amazed with the response. "We’re excited to provide Kiwi kids a unique opportunity to
be involved in the national game. Plunket has nurtured their fair share of stars and this is a great way to raise
awareness of the brilliant job they are doing for our youngest New Zealanders.”
The 115 BNZ Future Stars jerseys will be worn in the Round 15 matches played on May 23 and 24 in Auckland, Wellington
and Dunedin. After the full-time whistle blows, the personalised jerseys will be given to the BNZ Future Stars to keep
as the ultimate Investec Super Rugby souvenir.
The chance for your chosen child to be ‘named’ in an Investec Super Rugby squad is open until Monday 28 April.
