Gas Industry Forum 2014 Moves to the South Island
After the last three years at North Island venues, the annual New Zealand Gas Industry Forum - the premier networking
event for the gas industry in New Zealand - is moving to the South Island. To be held at The Heritage Queenstown from
5-7 November, this year’s event will build on the format of the last few years.
There are a few changes; there will not be any Wednesday afternoon Technical workshops because the NZIGE will hold the
workshops with their AGM, which is to be held a few weeks prior to the Forum. In addition, the cost for a trade display
will reduce to $500 + gst from $850 + gst. This should mean an even better trade display turn out. More details on Trade

Whilst we are still putting together the agenda we are letting you know where and when as early as possible so you can
“grab” a cheap flight and secure your accommodation at the Heritage Hotel. The accommodation package provided by the
hotel provides good value for money at $179 incl gst per night. This includes breakfast for two. This means you could
easily bring a partner to the event and maybe even opt to stay an extra couple of nights to enjoy the sights and sounds

Attendance charges have been held at last year’s level which helps ensure the Forum maintains its exceptional
value-for-money status. Delegates who are employed by organisations which are members of either the LPG or Gas
Associations, or who are individual members of the NZIGE, pay just $490 + gst. Non-members pay $590 + gst.
For any organisations or individuals not yet members of their respective industry bodies, it is not too late to join up
and reap the benefit of the lower membership attendance rate.
