If you want to explore a destination from the seat of a bike while eating your way around the fresh food markets and interact with the locals while enjoying many cultural experiences, then this trip is for you.
If you like to wander and discover the freshest local produce and have a spiritual moment while flying in a hot air balloon over Angkor Wat at sunrise, then this trip is for you.
If you like the comfort of 3+ star accommodation and learning how to cook the indigenous cuisine, then this trip is for you.
And, it just keeps getting better with the trip being led by NZ Foodie Helen Jackson who started www.foodlovers.co.nz 15 years ago. Each traveller will receive a signed copy of Helen’s cookbook and have the chance to learn, experience and treasure the moments at some of the best restaurants in Cambodia as well as creating culinary delights in the various cooking schools that this food rich itinerary includes.
“One of the reasons why I am so excited about this Culinary Cambodia trip is that we have the chance to experience the local life by cycling sometimes up to 60k’s in a day, we also discover the beautiful beaches of Rabbit Island and go on a boat cruise on Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake,” exclaims Helen. “And, we have the chance to eat the fresh, spicy, tangy dishes that Cambodia is so well known for.”
Helen was the Food Editor at New Zealand Women’s Weekly and is currently on The Home & Garden Show on Radio Live each Saturday morning from 6:00 am, cooks regularly on TV ONE’S Good Morning Show and shares her recipes freely on her website.
