SHOTZ Scoops Customer Satisfaction Awards
This week The Warehouse’s own brand, Shotz laundry powder, won the Most Satisfied Customers Award – Laundry Powders, 2014 following an independent survey of over 2,000 New Zealanders, commissioned by Canstar Blue.
With outstanding ratings across six different categories, including value for money, quality of clean and feel of clothes, Shotz had the highest overall customer satisfaction rating, beating last year’s winner Ecostore.
Canstar General Manager New Zealand, Derek Bonnar says: “The survey reveals consumers are opting for a laundry powder that not only does a great job of washing clothes, but also offers the most bang for their buck, which is where Shotz sits clearly above the rest.
“Shotz is definitely pushing the right buttons for customers and doing an outstanding job in the laundry,” says Mr Bonnar.
According to the survey, more than half of New Zealanders buy their laundry powder based on price, rather than showing loyalty to a particular brand or adhering to the recommendations of their machine’s manufacturer.
It is largely younger consumers on the hunt for the best bargain, with 63 per cent of those under 30 leading the charge for price-based purchases.
The Warehouse CEO, Simon Turner says of the win, “We are delighted to win this customer satisfaction award in Canstar Blue’s independent survey. It shows that Kiwis love both the price and quality of brands, like Shotz, which we stock exclusively, and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome.”
The survey asked respondents who have purchased and used laundry powder in the last three months to rate their brand across seven categories:
1. Feel of clothes after wash
2. Smell
3. Environmental friendliness
4. Number of washes
5. Quality of clean
6. Value for money
7. Overall satisfaction
