Top Senior Consultants Return to Porter Novelli's Growing Business

Following a period of exceptional first quarter new business growth Porter Novelli has attracted back three former consultants to its stable including Louise Wright, Joanna Glover and Kerry Gardner.

Louise Wright completes Porter Novelli's senior team made up of Strahan Wallis, Sarah Williams and newly appointed non-executive chairman John Frey.

Louise was also ACP’s Publishing Director of Mass Market Titles, Woman’s Day, The Australian Women’s Weekly (NZ edition) and NW magazine. She has previously edited Cleo and She & More, worked as a journalist for the Sunday Star Times, the Christchurch Press and the Auckland Star. Before joining Porter Novelli Louise worked in a variety of high profile roles in the media and Public Relations industry; most recently as Editor of the New Zealand Woman's Weekly. Brief background on Joanna Glover
Joanna Glover is an experienced PR consultant and marketer, who has previously been part of the Porter Novelli team. She has extensive experience at Porter Novelli as a senior account director working across corporate and marketing clients. She knows the media inside out, having been one of them. She has worked as a journalist and producer preparing stories for Southland TV, The Radio Network and Television New Zealand. In her spare time she completed a thesis on ‘Crossing over - the Move from Journalism to PR.' Her experience ranges from consumer marketing, event management and sponsorship leverage to strategy development, corporate and business-to-business communications. This is her second stint at Porter Novelli.
Brief background on Kerry Gardner
As a former journalist, Kerry jumped to fence to PR 14 years ago while working in Sydney, Australia. Since then she has worked both in-house and for several leading agencies on both sides of the Tasman (including Porter Novelli New Zealand), assisting a number of leading companies across a large range of industry sectors. Kerry has cultivated specialties in financial and corporate communications and has a keen interest in issues management.
