The NZ Hi-Tech Awards recognise the success of the New Zealand technology sector and its contribution to the New Zealand economy.

VMob CEO and founder Scott Bradley said being recognised as a finalist across three categories is a testament to VMob’s proven software technology and fast-growing global presence.

VMob turns an ‘average’ customer transaction into a known consumer, providing clients with a tool that offers true one-to-one retail marketing – personalised, location-based and time served, to drive store traffic and retail loyalty by delivering relevant offers and rewards to each individual customer.”

VMob’s technology uses the Microsoft Azure cloud-hosting environment. Load tested to 300million concurrent users, VMob has been profiled by Microsoft as a global leader in mobile-centric, real-time big data analytics.

Demonstrating the competitive market, the NZ Hi-Tech Awards reported a record number of entries this year showing a 38% increase on 2013. As one the sector’s most sought-after accolades, the NZ Hi-Tech Awards has recognised some of New Zealand’s most successful high-tech companies, and highest achieving individuals including Datacom, Xero and Endace.
Winners of the 20th NZ Hi-Tech Awards will be announced at a Gala Dinner in Christchurch on Friday 16th of May.
VMob was the winner of the Ministry of Science and Innovation ‘Best Hi-Tech Start-up’ award in 2011.
