TOWER launches SmartCentre
Auckland, 7 March 2014 - TOWER has launched a new online SmartCentre designed to help customers better protect the things they value – whether it’s as big as a house or as small as an engagement ring.
The SmartCentre at www.tower.co.nz/smartcentre is a brilliant new online repository of great advice, insights and ‘how to’ information designed to educate TOWER customers. It is part of the business’ commitment to finding exciting, innovative and relevant ways of delivering additional value to the many Kiwi customers who insure their most precious items with TOWER.
There are more than 50 articles already live on the site, ranging from tips about driving on unsealed roads and staying safe while indulging in DIY, through to protecting your jewellery and what to do in an earthquake, car accident, fire or flood. Content is organised into four key areas: How to, What to do, Did you know and Tools, with a focus on protecting your home, contents, car and travel. The selection of articles will grow over time.
“At TOWER, we’re not only looking out for you, we’re helping you look out for the things you care about too,” says General Manager Customer Proposition Mark Savage.
Mr Savage says TOWER is aiming to provide useful tools and resources that are easy for customers to access and tips and hints that are easy to action.
“SmartCentre is an example of TOWER being there for our customers during the good times as well as the bad. We want to help them look out for the things that they value, and ideally, try to avoid things going wrong in the first place,” he says.
“When our customers call us, they need something. We’re at the sharp end when things go wrong and this means that we’ve been able to get a real view of the information and insights that might be important and useful for our customers.”
SmartCentre follows TOWER’s development of smartphone apps to help customers collect and submit claim details following a motor incident. Claim4Car is available for both Apple and Android phones.
“We’re focusing on developing tools and services that help us to be easier to deal with by putting more control in the hands of our customers. That’s the driving reason behind Smart Centre and Claim4Car,” says Mr Savage.
