Fly Buys adds two healthy additions to its programme
Kiwis now have more ways to make the most of their healthcare purchases. Two leading New Zealand healthcare brands have joined the Fly Buys programme, both with significant retail footprints.
Hearing healthcare company, Triton Hearing, and pharmacy and beauty brand, Life Pharmacy, both joined the Fly Buys programme on 1 March.
“The inclusion of Triton Hearing and Life Pharmacy to Fly Buys' stable of leading New Zealand brands gives us an opportunity to strengthen our offering in the healthcare market and give our members more ways and more places to collect points. We’re thrilled both brands have come on board,” says Stephen England-Hall Chief Executive of Loyalty New Zealand, which runs Fly Buys.
Triton Hearing, the New Zealand arm of global hearing healthcare company Sonova Group, is a retail success story having increased its outlets from four in 2007 to 54 outlets today, with more expansion on the cards. Life Pharmacy has 28 stores throughout the country offering a range of specialist prestige beauty offers and services in addition to health and wellness services.
Triton Hearing and Life Pharmacy join 53 other leading New Zealand brands in the Fly Buys network, the largest coalition loyalty programme in the country.
Current healthcare brands in the Fly Buys programme include Visique (a network of independent qualified optometrists) and Unichem and Amcal pharmacies, owned by Pharmacybrands who also own Life Pharmacy.
Pharmacybrands is New Zealand’s only listed retail pharmacy group and is currently undertaking a consolidation of its brands (which also include the Care Chemist and Radius Medical brands) to just the Life Pharmacy and Unichem brands. There will be 240 Unichem stores along with the 60 Life Pharmacy outlets by the end of 2014.
Brook Millbank, Head of Marketing for Pharmacybrands, says that adding Fly buys to their Life Pharmacy group is an integral part of the brand redevelopment currently underway.
“We want to recognise and reward Fly Buys members who visit any of our pharmacies, for purchases throughout the store, regardless of whether it is health or beauty, she explains.
Triton Hearing also sees Fly Buys as an opportunity to reward loyal customers. Managing Director Graeme Dodd says they are delighted to partner with Fly Buys so that they can reward their many loyal and valued clients for their continued support.
“Triton has always tried to do things differently and go that extra mile for our clients. We see that same spirit in Fly Buys and our team is really excited about the opportunity to say thank you to our clients with a great mix of rewards and benefits,” says Dodd.
Triton Hearing kicks off its Fly Buys activity with a deal where members can collect up to 1,000 bonus points when they purchase the latest digital hearing aids.
