Michael Boersen appointed CEO of Yellow
Michael Boersen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yellow. He has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company since August 2010 and brings a vast amount of financial and leadership experience to the role.
We are delighted Michael has agreed to take on the leadership of Yellow and to lead the company into its next stage of development.
Michael Boersen was formerly the Chief Executive of Radius Health and prior to his tenure there, he held a range of CFO roles in the health and infrastructure sectors in New Zealand.
Chris Armistead has a done a very good job of taking the company through a significant transformation over several years. Chris, who is from the United States, has been with Yellow for just over three years initially as Managing Director, then as CEO for the last two years. He leaves with our warmest wishes and gratitude for his important contribution to the company.
Michael Boersen's appointment is effective from Monday 17th February, 2014.
