The Walking Festival on March 15 is an exciting and vibrant annual event. There are walks that will suit everyone, from old to young, fast to slow. The walk attracts an enthusiastic group of walkers from New Zealand, Australia, Europe, Japan and the wider Asia area.

The New Zealand Cuban Festival provides the opportunity for Cuban dance enthusiasts from around New Zealand, Australia & further afield to gather together, participate in, view choreographed dance routines, social dance together and share Cuban dance at public performances and demonstrations planned at the public arenas in Rotorua. The Festival is a three-day event commencing on the Friday February 28.

Reviving the look and sound made famous by Rock ‘n' Roll Hall of Famer Bill Haley -- Bill Haley, Jr. and The Comets is a high-energy five-piece combo performing a rousing, crowd-pleasing set of songs from the dawn of rock ‘n roll. This will be held at the Rotorua Energy Events Centre on March 29.

All month long you can enjoy Music at the Rotunda. Free performances from local musicians and groups at the Band Rotunda in Rotorua's beautiful Government Gardens. Jazz, blues, acoustic guitar, choral, brass, highland pipes and ukulele. Bring a picnic and a rug and enjoy some great local music in a wonderful setting.
