"Gold Rush on Again in Wellington"
The 2014 Wellington Gold Awards are now officially open, although nominations have continued to flow in since the
successful 2013 Awards on a stormy night in June.
"The Wellington business community have plenty to celebrate and be proud of as many local enterprises have flourished
despite a challenging economic environment" said Gold Awards Director John Dow.
"The hardwork, resilience and commitment of these people is quite astounding and we look forward to celebrating their
successes and achievements during the 2014 Gold Awards programme, with the big Awards night set for Thursday June 19 at
TSB BANK Arena, when over 900 people are expected to attend." said Mr Dow.
2013 Winners were AtaRangi, GreenButton, Summerset Holdings, Catalyst IT, Clemenger BBDO, Envirocomp, Outward bound NZ,
BigEars, Wellington Zoo and Wellington Airport.
Previous supreme winners include iconic Wellington brands Xero, Trilogy, Weta Digital, phil, Park Road Post, Te Papa, Icebreaker, NZ Festival and NZI Sevens.
