Hertz Launches Enhanced Car Rental Loyalty Program
Fast Forward to a More Rewarding Way to Rent with Enhanced Gold Plus Rewards
Christchurch, January 31, 2014 – As part of a continued effort to provide the world’s most rewarding car rental experience, Hertz has upgraded its industry-leading Gold Plus Rewards loyalty program. With enhanced Gold Plus Rewards, members can now enjoy easier status, faster rentals and more rewards.
“We will always strive to exceed the expectations of our loyal Gold Plus Rewards members to offer a valuable car rental experience at every touch point,” said Chris Rusden, Regional Vice President, Hertz Australia and New Zealand. “These enhancements have come about after an extensive evaluation of the Gold Plus Rewards program, and we’re pleased to now offer faster rentals, speedier service and quicker enrollment than ever before.”
Hertz has lowered the rental thresholds required to achieve and retain status in its elite tiers. It now requires only seven rentals to qualify for Five Star® and 20 rentals for President’s Circle®. In addition, Hertz is the only rental car company that upgrades its members monthly instead of the industry standard of annual upgrades. This helps Hertz to reward its most valuable customers by making it easier for Gold members to move up in status and enjoy additional benefits.
Gold Plus Rewards is now more rewarding with more ways to earn and redeem points around the world:
•Fast Forward to Free Days: Members can earn Triple Points on qualifying rentals from February 1 to April 15, 2014
•More Ways to Earn Points: In addition to earning points on rental charges, Gold members earn with services like Hertz NeverLost®, Fuel Purchase, insurance coverage options, car seats and more.
•Enhanced Rewards: Improved technology makes it easier for our members to view their real-time point balance, check their e-statements with up to 24 months of activity, and even redeem rewards during reservations.
•New Reward Destinations: Hertz has added new destinations to our expanding global network where you can redeem points for free days, including Ireland and Brazil.
