Sush Mobile GSMA Awards finalist for Kiwibank HomeHunter
London, 29 January 2014 - Kiwibank Home Hunter, an innovative mortgage loan processing, combination, real estate app developed by Sush Mobile, has been nominated for a Global Mobile Award in the Best Consumer Mobile Service category.
The Best Consumer Mobile Service recognises a ubiquitously available, cross-platform service for users, e.g. in the areas of: entertainment, including music, video, social media, games and gaming, as well as shopping, cloud based storage and streaming services, messaging, location based services, mobile banking and more.
There are 38 awards to be won across 8 categories. More than 160 nominees have been shortlisted for this years awards. Judges are comprised of a panel of 175 independent analysts, journalists, academic, and subject matter experts from around the world.
Kiwibank’s dedication to their customers led them to work with Sush Mobile to develop an extraordinary home-buying experience for customers. For users, the main aspect is the fast loan-approval. However, home loan approval is only one of a series of great moments the user encounters inside of the Home Hunter app. The ease of use should make for a simple and smooth home loan application process for customers, where they ultimately end up in a new home. These users become Kiwibank customers when they are approved for a loan. The long-term goal is that the home buying experience reflects Kiwibank’s dedication to maintaining outstanding customer service and allows non-existing customers to experience and switch to Kiwibank due to better overall customer satisfaction.
Home Hunter taps into property listings as they're published to provide users with the latest property information available. The application connects with Kiwibank servers to apply their internal formula for calculating home loans and deliver customer satisfaction in the form of pre-approval in minutes, instead of days. Augmented reality shows users where to find homes for sale nearby, just by pointing their camera. The sun is also tracked in an AR interface, letting buyers anticipate where the sun will be during different times of day and even in different seasons in the home they are looking for.
The winners will be announced on Mobile Live TV on on Tuesday, 25th February at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Global Mobile Awards afternoon ceremony will be hosted by BAFTA and Tony Award-winning British actor, writer, presenter and comedian, James Corden.
