Tourism Holdings Limited Appointment of Non Executive Director

The board of thl is pleased to announce the appointment of Christina Domecq to the board as a nonexecutive Director effective February 1st 2014.

Chairman of thl Rob Campbell said: “We have been searching for the right person with a strong digital and marketing background. We are very pleased to have a person of Christina’s calibre and experience joining us on the board.” “thl will further consolidate its position in each of its markets in 2014 and has a strong growth path ahead.

We are finding new channels and ways of communication with existing and potential customers around the world. This is the future of the visitor experience.” Currently the CEO of Localist, Christina has enabled the new business to become successful and won the Supreme Business Excellence Award in the 2013 Westpac Auckland Central Business Awards. Previously she has led companies to win several prestigious technology and innovation awards. She has also won CNBC Entrepreneur of the Year as well as ‘The Young Entrepreneur of the Year' and the ‘Science and Technology Entrepreneur of the Year’ from Ernst & Young.

Christina has also invested in a variety of premium New Zealand brands across liquor, technology and financial services which are leaders in their respective fields. These include Stolen Rum and Fingertapps.

This appointment takes the number of Directors for thl back to six. Christina is an independent director as defined under the NZSX listing rules.
