Wellington-based Harbour Asset Management has been recognised in this year’sInternational Finance magazine’s Financial Awards winning the ‘Best Asset Management Company, New Zealand’ award. In all, seven New Zealand financial institutions receivedInternational Finance Financial Awards, they were:
• Harbour Asset Management - Best Asset Management Company
• Best Investment Bank – First NZ Capital
• Best Banking Group – Australia& New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ)
• Best Commercial Bank – Westpac New Zealand Limited
• Best Internet Bank – Citibank NA
• Best Insurance Company – AA Insurance Limited
TheInternational Financemagazine’s (IFM) Financial Awards celebrate excellence across the international finance industry; honouring organisations that make a significant difference and add exceptional value. Nominees are researched and analysed by the IFM team and an external research agency, and then evaluated by a jury of international experts to decide the final shortlist.
Harbour Asset Management’s managing director Andrew Bascand said, “This Award caps a banner year for Harbour. It endorses our endeavours to be market-leading across every aspect of our operation from process to performance, research, and client and investor engagement. Moreover, the Award acknowledges the strength of the entire Harbour team who have contributed to building a world class asset management company.”
The IFM award followsWorld Finance magazine, part of the London-based World News Media group, who named Harbour as ‘Best Investment Management Company, New Zealand 2013’ in July.
