NZ Direct Marketing Awards 2013 Finalists Announced
Who’s been feeling the love?
Marketers who are ‘In Love with Response’ were invited to submit their best response-driven marketing campaigns of the last 12 months into this year’s NZ Direct Marketing Awards and we’re delighted to announce the 2013 NZDM Award finalists.
With the wide range of industry and/or channel categories, the craft categories and popular Nexus awards categories, as well as the two individual awards: Direct Marketer of the Year and The Keith Norris Direct Marketing Organisation of the Year to choose from, there were plenty of options available for great work to be showcased. This resulted in an 18% increase in the number of entries overall and a very pleasing 14% increase in the number of unique entrants, including some first-timers.
“Now in their 28th year, the awards recognise work that exhibits excellence in insight-driven marketing projects and campaigns that connected with customers on an individual basis and generated outstanding results. They also allow the best and brightest new talent coming through the industry to be recognised by announcing the finalists for the New Zealand Post Student Marketer of the Year award,” said Sue McCarty, Chief Executive of the Marketing Association. This year, students had to prepare an integrated regionalised campaign that can be delivered in Auckland and Waikato, for the new YMCA Auckland programme ‘Family Memberships’.
“Achieving the standard
set by the judges in order to be selected as a finalist is a
huge achievement in itself, and congratulations to them all.
Now like us, no doubt the finalists will be looking forward
to awards night to see if their work has been recognised as
an example of excellence in direct marketing for 2013”
says Mrs McCarty.
