Slingshot’s Ultra-Fast Broadband set to beat the market!
Slingshot, the world’s largest kiwi owned and operated broadband provider, will launch its new Ultra-Fast Broadband plans on the 5th December. Plans will include Ultra-VDSL as well as the cheapest residential Fibre plans in New Zealand.
Pricing for the Fibre plans will start from just $69 a month including the Homeline, plus there are a range of other great features included at no extra cost such as Rollover Data, Global Mode and a Free MEGA account with 500GB of online storage.
Slingshot is confident that these new Ultra-Fast Broadband plans will help shake up the NZ Telco market and bring consumers next-generation Broadband services at prices they can afford and by a brand they can trust.
Slingshot GM Taryn Hamilton says they are determined to challenge the larger Telco’s on price, data allowances and network performance. He says this is all part of a long term strategy to bring Slingshot customers future Broadband technology at affordable prices.
“We’re bringing the future of broadband to kiwi household’s right across the country. The bigger guys are pushing up the prices for these new services at too high a cost to the consumer. At Slingshot we want to do the opposite, we want to make these services accessible to everyone and make sure our customers don’t have to pay a fortune for Ultra-Fast Broadband.”
Slingshot has been an ardent supporter of the UFB rollout and has been increasingly vocal recently in championing lower broadband prices for consumers.
Full details of Slingshot’s Ultra-Fast Broadband plans – known as Ultra-Fibre and Ultra-VDSL - will be announced on December 5th.
“Our Ultra-Fast Broadband plans mean Slingshot customers can start downloading, sharing and streaming media like never before” says Hamilton.
Slingshot is proudly 100% kiwi owned and operated, and is the fourth largest ISP in New Zealand. Slingshot has deployed the largest Unbundled Local Loop network in New Zealand, having built access to over 150 exchanges throughout New Zealand. Slingshot is focused on delivering a great kiwi service and creating local jobs with all staff, including the Contact Centre, based in New Zealand.
