Kapiti and Horowhenua Customers Make Their Choice
The first ever Customer Choice Awards were announced as part of the Electra Kapiti Horowhenua Business Awards (Friday 8 November 2013). Both are small businesses that aim for customer satisfaction from their services.
The retail category has gone to Over the TeacupsVintage Tea & Coffee House, Paraparaumu Beach.
This one-year old business is a traditionally themed tea and coffee house which aims to provide a relaxed, sociable community place for locals and tourists to enjoy a solitary break or a get-together with friends.
Proprietors Dee Ryan and Martin Halliday utilise vintage china on the premises and also when they provide small High or Devonshire Teas in customer homes.
In voting for Over the Teacups, customers used words like “outstanding” and “great” to explain their experiences and many added complimentary remarks about the atmosphere, the food and the coffees and the way the two operators assisted them.
Taking out the service category is Levin Novus, operated as part of Levin Glassworks, owned by Darren and Anne Jensen.
Specialising in auto glass repairs, Levin Novus services car yards, panel beaters and members of the public directly. It is a mobile service with a commitment to high quality and credibility.
It services an area between Foxton Beach and Te Horo.
Customers most used the word “outstanding” in ranking their experience of this company and one went so far as to describe it as “the best small business I have dealt with in the Horowhenua.”
