Social Media Seminar for Blenheim Business Professionals
Nelson-based social media marketing professionals, Kate Coote and Amy Cunningham, will hold a seminar in Blenheim to teach local business people how to utilise the power of digital communication.
Coote and Cunningham, individual owners of PR and web/marketing firms Kate Coote. and Cunningham Communications, decided to travel to Blenheim following the success of their debut event in Nelson.
"Our seminar in Nelson was a full house event and the feedback we had from those who attended was excellent, so we made the decision to bring it to Blenheim as well," says Coote.
“Amy and I have both had extensive experience in harnessing social marketing to enable our clients to achieve their business goals. In today’s highly competitive business market it is essential to have a digital presence.
The beauty of social media is it is free and anyone can use it, but there are a variety of other advantages as well - including better engagement and interaction with the audience of a brand, the ability to build bigger databases and generate sales leads,” says Coote.
Cunningham says the duo have compatible skills and have successfully worked together on previous occasions.
“Kate and I have worked very well together on a number of projects, and although our businesses differ slightly - I provide mainly public relations and communications whereas Kate’s core business is content marketing, web design and creative; we both deliver a number of social media services which have become increasingly popular and highly beneficial for organisations of all shapes and sizes,” says Cunningham.
Cunningham Communications and Kate Coote. will present their introductory seminar, Social and Digital Communication for Business, on Tuesday November 26, from 9:30am to 12:30pm at Chateau Marlborough, 95/117 High Street, Blenheim.
Tickets are $45- per person (including GST) and bookings are essential.
