The vision of New Zealand born businessman Paul Ding, KD Media Inc (parent of Yesshop and KOSDAQ listed) has assembled a team of local and international experts, led by CEO Alistair Duff (formerly of the Shopping Channel and TVNZ). Duff is supported by senior management with many years’ experience in the Korean home shopping market and connections with South Korean manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, international suppliers, and the six Korean home shopping channels.
Paul Ding says that today’s launch is the realisation of a dream and the culmination of many months of hard work by his team.
“We are inspired to bring the very best home shopping experience to all New Zealanders. With the growth in online shopping Yesshop aims to help keep sales in New Zealand by offering Kiwi shoppers excellent local and international products, providing quality and value for everyday life, with the convenience of purchasing from TV, internet and mobile devices.
“With our extensive connections in both Korea and international markets, and the global experience of our team, we know that Yesshop will be presenting an impressive and growing product range, unmatched by competitors,” says Ding.
Central to the strategy of the new network are strong ties to the South Korean home shopping sector and the country’s manufacturers. One Korean home shopping partner of Yesshop provides a supply of over 300, 000 products.
Establishing these key relationships is instrumental in sourcing innovative and market leading products across a wide range of categories including homewares, fashion, electronics, cosmetics, beauty, and more.
“New Zealanders will soon find out that they can get their favourite and world leading brands for less.”
Alistair Duff, CEO of Yesshop says that the Boston Road studio provides an expansive space.
“It’s one of the bigger studios in the country, with four permanent sets, allowing merchandising and production demonstrations to be captured in the best possible environment.”
